In 2009, almost 900 people attended the traditional gathering of Missouri elected officials, candidates running for office, leaders in agriculture, and supporters of the Fair. The breakfast features Missouri country-cured ham and other Agri-Missouri products.
The Grand Champion Ham, Reserve Grand Champion Ham, Grand Champion Bacon and the 2010 Missouri State Fair Limited Edition #1 Gold Belt Buckle will be auctioned folllowing an address by Missouri Governor Jay Nixon.
Proceeds from the Governor's Ham Breakfast auction go to the the MSFF Youth Scholarship Fund. The fund benefits and supports programs for youth involved in 4-H and FFA activities at the Missouri State Fair. For more information click on the "Scholarships" link to the left.
