NEW CONSTRUCTION PLAN
This plan identifies new buildings and structures recommended for construction within the fairgrounds site. It includes approximately 350,000 gross square feet of space that will replace those buildings demolished and those utilized in a different manner for fair users. It additionally represents those types of uses as deemed necessary to be added to the fairgrounds mix for better utilization of the fairgrounds and provide for recommended changes in programming of the fairgrounds. New construction will be facilitated by either private entities investing in the fairgrounds; public entities facilitating the needs of the fairgrounds in order to promote a confidence to invest; and from organizations wishing to be part of the agricultural experience of the fair.
New structures include a new rodeo arena, rabbit and poultry building, sheep pavilion and exhibition building, food courts, stage facility, amphitheater, fairgrounds tower, maintenance building, administrative offices, fair museum, cattle barn, dormitory, and ticket gates.
