MISSOURI STATE FAIR FOUNDATION SCHOLARSHIPS
The Missouri State Fair Foundation sponsors and administers the scholarships financially, which are awarded through the Missouri 4-H Foundation.
1. Monies raised from the commission levied against the sale price of the Grand and Reserve Grand Champion hams and bacons and the sale price of the State Fair Belt Buckle will be designated as the Missouri State Fair Foundation Scholarship Fund.
2. Six scholarships in the amount of $1,000.00 will be awarded for the 2008-2009 academic year, and may be claimed for the school term beginning in the fall of 2008. Scholarship monies not claimed within twelve months of their award will be forfeited back to the Scholarship Fund with no notice.
3. The criteria and determination for awarding the scholarship will be made by the Missouri 4-H Foundation. The criteria and requirements established by the Missouri 4-H Foundation, along with the appropriate application, can be obtained from the Missouri 4-H Foundation at their website mo4h.missouri.edu and by mail as follows:

4. Applicants must plan to enroll in an accredited university, college or community college in the state of Missouri. Upon notification of the award of scholarship by the Missouri 4-H Foundation, the Missouri State Fair Foundation will pay the scholarship funds directly to the accredited school, upon verification of enrollment.
