Governor’s
Ham Breakfast

One of the Missouri State Fair’s most unique and traditional events is scheduled for Thursday, August 16, 2012 at 8:00am in the Director’s Tent – the 60th Annual Governor’s Ham Breakfast.

Hosted by the Foundation, nearly 1,000 people annually attend this gathering of Missouri elected officials, candidates running for office, leaders in agriculture, and supporters of the Fair. The breakfast features Missouri country-cured ham and other Missouri agricultural products.

Following the breakfast, the Grand Champion Ham, Reserve Grand Champion Ham, Grand Champion Bacon and the 2012 Missouri State Fair Limited Edition #1 Belt Buckle will be auctioned off.

The event concludes with an address by Missouri Governor Jay Nixon.

Tickets to the event are $20 per person (which also includes Fair admission). The Foundation invites everyone to attend this celebration of the best of Missouri.  All proceeds from the breakfast and auction benefit the Foundation Scholarship Fund and Special Project Fund.
