John Fletcher

2026 Missouri Ag Hall of Fame Inductee

John Fletcher, of Marshall, serves as General Manager of Central Missouri AgriService LLC (CMAS), a joint venture of Fletcher Grain Company, MFA Incorporated and Cooperative Association #1 of Slater. CMAS purchases approximately 21 million bushels of corn, soybeans and wheat from more than 1,000 area farmers and also provides valuable grain storage and high-speed grain handling services that allow farmers to make the best marketing decision for their individual operation.

John’s family history in the industry dates back to the early 1900s, when his grandfather began buying grain by the wagon load. That business eventually became Fletcher Grain Company. John joined the family business in 1975 while attending college. An active member of the local community, John served on the Marshall City Council, chairs the Saline County E911 Emergency Services Board, and led the effort to build Marshall’s city office building. Also an industry leader, John served on the Missouri Agribusiness Association Board of Directors and for nearly 30 years with the National Grain and Feed Association.

John and his wife, Trish, have four children and 10 grandchildren.
